We asked you what you would change if you could change one thing. This is what you told us...
"If I could change one thing I would change Careers Advice for Disabled People, as there is not enough of it, and when you do go for careers advice it is not adequate.
"For example when I went for careers advice after college I went to a special needs careers adviser. I was asked to provide a list of contacts for them to contact to see if I could be placed with them. This was not very helpful. Careers advice has been an ongoing issue for members of the network, and we had someone come to talk to us as a group. She was supposed to give careers advice about what equipment we could have once we were in employment, but she took it the wrong way and started telling us that we needed to get employment first.
"If the Network could change something it would be education and careers advice, there is not enough of it there and what is there is totally wrong. I would also like to see the Disabled Children Matter Wales campaign concentrate on things like this as well. It is not just about money for disabled families, some money should be ring fenced for careers advice so that services can be improved."
"They could fund a new wheelchair when necessary so that if repairing becomes a nuisance (eg chair breaking down all the time), the users would not become stressed out with the worry of the cost of a new one."
"More leisure and social facilities for more able Aspergers children in order for them to meet peers of their own age which would help with their social difficulties. This is non existent currently in the Bridgend area."
"I think that they should make all buildings accessible so that young disabled people in wheel chairs will be able to go in shops not just 1 or 2 buildings, they should be able to go everywhere."
"More support to be able to lead an independent life that the young person wants."
"Please listen to us when we say what our needs and wishes are - we know what we need. Organisations and those who say they are our spokesperson should not speak on our behalf."
