 This is a profile of Lee Ellery, a supporter of the Disabled Children Matter Wales campaign.
Hello every one for those of you that dont know me, my name is Lee Ellery.
I live in Swansea with my mum, dad and brother. I am cerebral palsied (quadriplegic). I went to mainstream schools in Swansea then onto Swansea College where I did GNVQ in business studies and was one of the first students to pilot the Welsh Baccalaureate in Wales and passed with honours. I have been offered university places to study BA Honours in Disability and Professional Practice but have deferred them.
I am currently working voluntary at Swansea Access For Everyone (SAFE). I have been a member of Swansea Youth Forum and. I am also a former member of Funky Dragon (the children and young peoples assembly for Wales) and I am one of the original members of the Young Disabled Peoples Network here in Wales.
I am passionate about drama music and politics and I love socializing with my friends and peers. |
