The National Assembly for Wales' Cross-Party Autism Group has published a report which says that educational institutions in Wales are not meeting the needs of young people with autism.
The study is based on information based on 33 responses received to a questionnaire sent out to education providers with an autism specialism.
The group found that:
75 per cent of schools feel there is a lack of adequate local provision for the young people they support 50 per cent of schools find local cooperation difficult 58 per centof schools do not feel there is adequate FE provision for young people on the autism spectrum in Wales.
